Focus: Writing an argument to support claims with reasons and evidence
Prompt: Watch the video and listen for the 7 important parts of an argumentative paragraph. List those in your journal. Then brainstorm three topics that you feel very strongly about to possibly use as your first argumentative paragraph topic. Feel free to discuss with your peers and the class to generate ideas. Be certain to finish this prompt before class on Thur.
