today u will knead: WTG Lesson 8, shurly-we will correct paragraph, you're quick-write journal's & a pencil & expo marker & dictionary Quick-Write: Date: Prompt: Use the following words to place into three categories: political, control, social, cultivation, distribute, occupation, Mesopotamia, cuneiform, archaeology, Tigris, rank, Euphrates, Iraq, role, language, decipher Feel free to use your dictionary as you make sense of these words. You may NOT use "other" as a category (or any version thereof). Please do not write the label above each category, as someone is going to be trying to figure out what your categories are. Focus: Making connections between concepts. Time: 6 min. Article: As you read, determine how you will use the information from the text to connect with the video in your writing option. Homework: WTG: Lesson 8 (due Thur. Spelling City: 3 Lessons (due Fri.) Genius Hour: Continue to think about your project...Sign-Up Genius will be available by the end of the week. We will work on the written portion after Thanksgiving break. Thursday: This morning we will begin with WTG test. Than we will move on to continuing our reading/writing exploration. You will need your quick-right journal and a writing utensil + highlighter/pen (if u would like) and the article u read on Tuesday.
