today we will be working in rotating groups. we will work on shurley, practicing wtg words in writing, a writing prompt (see Friday's post), and on istation. i will be putting you into rotating groups to do this, so please be prepared to follow instructions and have a great time learning at a different pace! love mrs p Shurley: Practice Worksheet (p. 2) Words to Go: Use words in sentences (write on paper to be edited by others in the next rotational group) WTG: Write each WTG word in a sentence in your journal. Be certain to underline the WTG word. iStation: assignments Homework: Shurley: Worksheet p. 2 (due Wed.) WTG: Sentences in journal (due Wed.) mahalo! today we will begin class by finishing the DLP-Daily Language Practice (which is in your journals) Friday side only. Work on this in your group for 5 min. and then u will correct as a class. After that u will be working on your WTG (Words to Go) games. u will have 15 min. to prepare your game and then play. remember, your game needs to include both the meaning and spelling of the word. you will also need to include instructions for how to play the game. if you finish early, you are welcome to trade games with another group. After that, we have a quick-write! Mrs. Haney will show you the picture below when you are ready. Then, you will have 3 min. of think time. Please create a mini plot diagram and then you will have the rest of the class period to write and share your stories. Enjoy!
