OR continue to read your novel or reading for Genius Hour As far as journal prompts...let's scale this back and have you complete ONE journal prompt per week, rather than one journal prompt each day. You are doing a great job! You do not have to submit a journal prompt, but please be reading for your Genius Hour topic as needed. Today I would like you to work on Spelling City. You will NOT have a spelling packet, but you will need to do Spelling City Lessons. These will be due by Thursday night (THIS WEEK 4/9) at midnight. I am shortening the timeframe that this is due because this is all that you will have to do for Spelling. :) Wednesday's Agenda (4/8): Today you have a choice: 1. Finish Spelling City assignments (due Thur. 4/9 at midnight). OR 2. Choose one of these options: Tell me about something that you have learned, someone you have helped, something new that you have read about, or share about your experience during this time of being quarantined. This should be something that you can learn about while you are at home, that is going to make a big impact on your life. When you decide, please write one persuasive paragraph. Following this template: Sentence 1: Introduce your topic. Sentence 2 and 3: Explain why this topic is important to you (give good detail). Sentence 4: Tell me how you plan to find your resources (your requirements will be the same as your last Genius Hour project. Sentence 5: Conclusion of your topic If you would like to expand your paragraph, go for it! :) Please email this paragraph to me by the end of the day next Monday (4/13). Please work on iStation Reading Assignments for 40 min. Then, I would like you to work on Spelling City. You will NOT have a WTG packet, but you will need to do Spelling City Lessons which correspond with WTG Lesson 10 words. Each of you will log into Spellingcity.com. Your usernames are all: firstname.lastname (For Example: Bob Smith would be bob.smith) Your passwords are all: 1234 These will be due by Thursday night (THIS WEEK 4/2) at midnight. I am shortening the timeframe that this is due because this is all that you will have to do for Spelling. :) Wednesday's Agenda (4/1): Please work on iStation Reading Assignments for 40 min. Then work on Spelling City. These lessons are due by midnight tomorrow night (Thur. 4/2). Friday's Agenda: (4/3): Please work on iStation Reading or Science Assignments for 40 min.
