Welcome! My name is Amy Pfaff (pronounced FAFF), and I am the sixth-grade homeroom teacher here at Rolling Hills Charter School. I am currently beginning my 19th year of teaching, and have spent 14 of those years teaching in a charter school. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree from Montana State University and earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northwest Nazarene University. I am licenses real estate professional and have an MBA.
My teaching experience includes teaching second grade in a southern Montana town, fifth-grade in Idaho Falls, middle-school grades in Vallivue Middle School and Thomas Jefferson Charter School, fourth-grade in Kuna, and fifth-eighth grade at Rolling Hills. I am currently a Teacher Consultant for Boise State University, and am highly-qualified to teach the subjects that I have been assigned. Growing up in a small town in Northern Idaho has helped me to appreciate the outdoors, and inspired a love of travel. We (my husband and I) thrive in the outdoors and in discovering new places of adventure. Whenever possible, we are on our bikes, camping, hiking, taking pictures, roasting food over an outdoor fire, or blending up strange concoctions in our VitaMix. My secret hidden talent is renovating paddle boards, and I am currently working on my fourth! We have a cat named Darla who thinks she runs our house. She might. Please feel free to contact me at any time. I'm glad I get to work with you!
