Novel Study: This is the perfect time for you to be able to read the novel that you chose. If you do not have that novel, you are welcome to either come to the school to check it out, or you may choose a different novel to read while you are on break. Please be sure to choose a novel that you have NOT read before, a novel that is at your level, and a novel that you will enjoy and be able to journal about as you read. This will be the modified assignment for you: Each day we have a scheduled class, you will an assignment for 30 min. and then write a reflection in your journal about what you have read. Your journal reflection should be about 15 min. worth of work, so I am looking for quality in your responses. You may decide to reflect in a digital format (Google Docs, Prezi, YouTube etc.). Below you will find journal options for how you might respond. You may choose the way you respond each day that you read. You only need to choose ONE journal prompt per day. You will keep these with you until you finish your novel, OR until we return to school and you can share them with me. If you get to the point that you would like to share them, feel free to use the upload portal on the homepage, or email them to me as well. Thank you! Tuesday's Agenda (3/10):
