We will begin with presentations right away, so please have a seat quickly with nothing on your desk. I am aware that some of you had issues with the website over the weekend, so if you need a practice sheet to be filled out and returned tomorrow (if you are presenting today), I will get that for you. I will also hand you a scoring rubric. When you present you will hand in your final draft of your essay (if you have not done so already) along with your practice sheets and the rubric that I hand to you today with your name on it.
This afternoon I will choose three different volunteers to sit in the judge seats. I will be looking for students following directions most carefully. Judges will need a chromebook. Each judge will click on the link to rate presenters (on the homepage). Using the rubric as a guide, you will rate each presenter based on a 5 star rating. This will not impact grades, but it will help determine the winner of the presentation competition. Winners will have a choice of a reward at the end of the week!
Please put everything inside of your desk so that nothing is a distraction to you. Thank you.
